Spring Food Drive Feeds Over 30 Local Families

Throughout April, Dutilh Church members came together to collect a multitude of items for local families. On April, 21st, with over 30 dedicated volunteers lending their time and energy, we were able to make a significant impact by providing essential support to those in need.

Our dedicated volunteers, spent the day sorting, packing, and delivering food to ensure that families in our area felt the warmth of our church's care. Each box was filled with approximately $100 worth of food and paper goods, alongside a $25 gift card to Giant Eagle, offering not just sustenance but also the freedom to choose what best suits their needs.

This year’s fundraiser benefited families throughout the area—15 family boxes were delivered to Mars Area High School and an additional 15 were sent to Haine Middle School. These schools are at the heart of our community, and supporting their students and families is a cause close to our hearts.

One of the driving forces behind the success of this food drive was the incredible leadership of Debbie Mariotti. Her dedication to coordinating the logistics, rallying volunteers, and ensuring everything ran smoothly was truly commendable.
