Dutilh’s Kitchen Ministry Team

Loaves & Fishes is a group of volunteers who lend their skills, experience, and enthusiasm to a variety of hospitality and ministry events throughout the year. All are welcome to participate. We are a busy team and need lots of hands! Find out more in our Kitchen Ministry Profile.

Our ministry is about more than the food. It’s a way to:

• Care for our congregational members.

• Offer hospitality to newcomers and guests.

• Support church programs and core ministry teams like children’s and music ministries.

Loaves & Fishes provides:

• Coffee and cookies in Dutilh’s Cafe after each Sunday service (a perfect opportunity for families with children to volunteer together!)

• Funeral luncheons

• Snacks for Vacation Bible School participants

• Food for the annual Christmas breakfast

• Meals for Dutilh’s Lenten Dinner series

• Food for the Fall Kick-Off event

• Faithful Followers lunches

Loaves & Fishes kitchen ministry is connected to Helping Hands, which provides occasional meals for families welcoming a new baby or dealing with an illness.

Another outreach is that sometimes, the food seems to multiply as we make it! Recipients of our freshly prepared extra food include VOICe, MHY Family Services, New Hope, and other ministry partners of the Dutilh community.
