Good Friday Service: Friday, March 30th
A Service of Tenebrae (meaning “darkness” or “shadows”) is a traditional Good Friday Worship Service that focuses on the reading of the story of the first Good Friday, from the New Testament Gospels. As each part of the Good Friday story is read, we sing traditional hymns or listen to special music, and a candle is extinguished at the end of each reading. The Service of Tenebrae ends in darkness as we read the final scripture, the death of Jesus.
Easter Prayer Service: Saturday, March 31st
“Join us for a service of worship and prayer at Dutilh Church Mars Campus, @5pm, on Saturday March 31st, as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the ultimate sign of God’s love for us. We will have prayer stations that simultaneously remind us that God extinguishes chaos, fear, and sin, and that he ignites our deepest longings and hopes in both this life and the life to come.”
