| Our children ages 4th - 6th grade have their own group called Kids For Christ (KFC).
We meet every other Sunday afternoon, from 12:30pm - 2:00pm.
During special gatherings, we may do any number of different activities,
which can include playing bingo with the residents at UPMC Cranberry Place, going to Fun Fore All in Cranberry
or having skating parties at BladeRunners or On A Roll Family Skate
Center.
In February we participate in a great cause fund raiser called
the 30-Hour Famine. The 30-Hour Famine is a lock-in/service project
. It involves raising money for the
World Vision Campaign to feed hungry children across the world! We
will fast for 30 hours as we serve our community in local mission
projects and enjoy a high energy lock in at Dutilh church.
Summer is especially enjoyable with monthly activities including pizza parties and game night.
The highlight of the year is the annual trip to
Jumonville Camp every August. It is here that we hike, have devotions, sleep in cabins, gather around campfires, and have a great few days of fun.
