Nursery
(Newborn - 3 years) |
Nursery is provided in the Education Wing during the Sunday Worship services
and Sunday School. There is an infant (0-18 months) and toddler nursery (18
months - 3 years). Care is provided by adult child care professionals, aided
by several teens. There are many age appropriate toys and games, as well as
all the necessities (extra diapers, wipes, bandages) that come with the
territory. Upon checking into the nursery, parents are given a pager in the
even that their attention is required. The toddlers often share in a snack
and craft during this special time. |
|
* If you do not utilize the nursery and find yourself with a particularly
rambunctious or fussy child Sunday morning, there is a Cry Room in the back
of the sanctuary filled with books, crayons and paper so that you may
continue to enjoy the service without fear of disrupting others. |

Children's Story |
A unique opportunity for our youngsters (3 years - 2nd grade) to get special attention from the
pastor or guest speaker in a special sermon created just for them. It is
held in front of the sanctuary during Sunday worship. Children gather when
indicated in the bulletin, usually near the beginning of the service. The
children's story ends in prayer and then the children are dismissed to the
Education Wing for Children's Church. |
|
Children's Church |
This is a special children's service of songs, activities and Bible stories
geared especially for them. Held during the adult sermon / service,
Children's Church is created to reach the children (3 years - 2nd grade) on their level. Teams of
volunteers work to share God's love for them. Parents pick up their children
in the Education Wing immediately following the Sunday morning worship
service. |
