Our mission is to touch our world with the life-changing message
of our Lord and Savior. Through developing friendships, encouraging
learning, involvement of sharing, and exciting our spirit, we spread
our joy with the community and beyond.

All volunteers are carefully screened before
entering the classroom. Background checks, including child abuse and
criminal records, are reviewed for all our helpers. We also have
training throughout the year for topics like classroom management,
child abuse prevention and more.

SPECIAL EVENTS - in addition to the
many weekly offerings, there are many seasonal events: |
| Rally Day -
Held the Sunday after Labor Day, this event is the kick-off for
the next season of Sunday School. Children advance to the next
grade and new adult classes begin. It's a fun way to celebrate
another year in our continuing Christian Education. |
| Christmas Experience - A
day for children 3 years to 5th grade to experience the
Christmas story brought to life. They also enjoy crafts and
songs, while celebrating the story of the birth of Jesus Christ. |
| Easter Extravaganza -
Children 3 years to 5th grade share in an Easter story, crafts
and a special egg hunt in the celebration of our risen Lord. |
| Vacation Bible School - More
than 200 children of every faith all over the area attend our
VBS program. Held in July, VBS is a week
filled with activities, including bible adventures, crafts,
songs, games, snacks and fun. The week-long program runs each
morning from 9:00 A.M. - noon., and culminates in a Friday
Finale and a special presentation during worship services Sunday
morning. |
| Fall Festival - A day of
fun and games for families to share. Come in costume and play
festival games with Biblical flair. A bounce house, food, and
Cranberry Firefighters are just some of the extras you'll find. |

| In addition to our many adult
offerings, Dutilh United Methodist Church offers newborns,
infants, toddlers, children and youth of all ages fun and
educational opportunities through our Children and Youth
Ministries. |
