The Center for Hope is a faith-based community center located in Ambridge. Center for Hope offers a multitude of programs, including a clothes closet and food pantry, after school classes for children and counseling for adults. Join a group of 4 or more, once a month, to travel to Ambridge and help on their food distribution day. To participate contact Connie Rosenberry at granberry2@hotmail.com.
Read To a Child
Help expand a child’s awareness of the written word by reading books one-on-one with a child in grades 3-5 at Manchester Elementary on the North Side. Books are provided. There are opportunities to read with a child on any school day. Call Maria Wesley at 724-779-2241 or email her at tmwesley@zoominternet.net to be a part of this program.
Projects listed below will be short term projects with a registration or participation deadline. Requests may be received from outside agencies needing assistance in a timely manner, or may be an upcoming project at Dutilh UMC.
