Building, Construction, and Maintenance Ministry Opportunities:

 

 

Hosanna Industries
A faith-based program based in Rochester, PA provides construction services for needy neighbors. Volunteers are always needed to help. There are projects going on all year. A major need is donations to fund the projects.
  • To volunteer, contact Emily Cadenhead at 724-770-0262.
  • Expertise is welcome, but all ages and all abilities are needed (including kids).

A faith-based advocate for those in need of decent shelter by constructing and renovating simple, decent, affordable housing. For more information, contact the Beaver County Habitat Office at 724-846-1630.

  • Groups 10-12; one day committment

The Pittsburgh Project
The Pittsburgh Project partners with Hot Metal in Pittsburgh to help elderly residents and uphold the dignity and vulnerability of homeowners. There are a variety of opportunities available to help, but usally home repair. Opportunities are very flexible to fit schedule and size of group. Connellsville P.U.M.P. (People Under Missions to People)
CACM is an extension of the church to serve people in the Connellsville area who are hurting and in need of support. P.U.M.P. provides home repair for the aged, those in poor health, and people with limited financial means. Location: 201. E. Fairview Ave., Connellsville, PA 15425. Contact Rev.   • Group projects may include roofing, porch repair, painting, building wheelchair ramps, etc.
  •  Projects last 5 days but are flexible
  • Most needs are in the summertime
  • Groups can say “when” and the number of days they can commit to
  • Cost is involved to assist with materials
