Center for Hope - www.thecenterforhope.com
The Center for Hope is a faith-based community center located in Ambridge. Center for Hope offers a multitude of programs, including a clothes closet and food pantry, after school classes for children and counseling for adults. Contact Dave and Sue Otto at 724-251-4899, Mon.-Thurs. from 9:30am - 3:00pm with any questions.
  • Donations of personal care products are accepted.  
 
Connellsville Area Community Ministries (CACM)
CACM is an extension of the church to serve people in the Connellsville area who are hurting and in need of support. Location: 201 E. Fairview Ave., Connellsville, PA 15425. Contact Rev. Shawn Goodwin at 724-626-1120 for more information.

  • Basic medical supplies
  • Medical Equipment such as beds, wheelchairs, walkers, bed pans, and potty chairs        
 
Dutilh UMC
Our church collects items for different organizations. Green collection bins for the following items are located in the Fellowship Hall.
  • Campbells Soup Labels, Box Tops for Education. Click here for a list of accepted labels.
  •  Eye Glasses - used glasses and cases are sent to Haiti.
  • Toiletries in sample sizes - donated to shelters for homeless or victims of domestic violence.
  • Cell Phones - donated to Victim Outreach Intervention Center.
  • GuidePosts Magazine - distributed among organizations serving people in need of hope and inspiration.
  • Fabric for School Kit Bags - Must be heavy weight cotton (denim or duck) with fabric size to be 2/3 of a yard. It will be given to women in the church who will make the bags for UMCOR.
 
North Hills Community Outreach - www.nhco.org
North Hills Community Outreach is an interfaith organization addressing the needs of people in crisis, hardship and poverty in Alleghany County. The main office is in Allison Park, but they have offices in Hampton, Millvale, Bellevue, O’Hara and Pine.

NHCO provides a variety of services to people, including but not limited to: food pantry, utility assistance, Community Auto car donation program, and much more! For a current list of immediate needs CLICK HERE.
 
 
Pittsburgh Pregnancy Center
The Pittsburgh Pregnancy Centers provide counseling, support, and ongoing assistance to women. Centers are located in Wexford and Oakland.   • Childcare books
  • Flinstones chewable vitamins
 
Project Hope
Project Hope is dedicated to giving support to families of children who have been hospitalized for long term care in the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Their mission is to support parents and families with basic needs to facilitate their stay so that they can focus on taking care of their child. A wide variety of daily needs such as toiletries, snacks, notepaper,and shower shoes are accepted. Visit their website at www.projecthope-zelienople-pa.com to find a current list of needs.
 
 
True Life Men's Ministry - www.cityrescuemission.org
True Life Men’s Ministry serves men in recovery programs. It is a ministry of the City Rescue Mission in New Castle, PA. For additional information, contact Francie at 724-462-8308. The Nyadire Connection - www.nyadire.org
Churches in Western PA have banded together to develop ways to support this community in Zimbabwe. Current goals are to re-equip the hospital, build a library, refurbish the water system, develop a farm project and support teachers.
